What happens if I arrive late to a training course?

To participate in your course, you must arrive on time — ideally 15 minutes early. If you arrive after the course has started, you may not be able to join.

To ensure sessions run smoothly and everyone receives the full training and assessment experience, Real Response has firm cut-off times for late arrivals. These apply whether your course is face-to-face, virtual, or blended.

Cut-Off Times by Course Type

Policy

Express / Fully Blended

0 minutes

No late arrivals are accepted. These sessions run back-to-back and must start and finish on time.

Virtual (Via Teams)

Participants may not be able to join after this. Contact us as early as possible if delayed.

Standard & Multi-Day Courses

15 minutes

Late arrivals will not be admitted. These sessions have fixed safety and assessment briefings.

📞 What to Do If You’re Running Late

If you know you’re going to be late, call us immediately on 1300 744 980. In some cases, we may be able to notify the trainer — but this does not guarantee entry.

❗ Why This Matters

  • Trainers are required to deliver and assess nationally accredited content in full

  • Late arrivals disrupt other participants and the session flow

  • Missing briefings or practical components may make you ineligible for assessment
